We are experienced with all major HVAC concepts including split systems, VAV systems, VRF systems (like Mitsubishi), Geothermal, and chiller/boiler systems. We have a good feel for relative costs and can advise the client the most cost effective way to go. We are very comfortable with the most difficult of building renovations including historic building renovations. We are familiar with the various insulation types and envelope systems so the client can rest assured that the envelope will work with the HVAC system. Humidity is a major concern that we fully address in all buildings and homes. We have experience with diagnosing and fixing humidity problems in existing buildings. HVAC is one of the most important items in buildings in regards to comfort and efficiency. Our decades of experience allow us to get it right every time.
All of our engineers are active in suggesting Green Building design approaches whenever possible. Sustainable design is an important element that we believe exemplifies principles of good stewardship of our natural resources. This level of design is achieved through utilization of the U.S. Green Building Council LEED and ASHRAE’s “Standard 90.1 Energy Standard for Buildings”.
